Behind AI Lux: Premium AI Solutions & Support
AI Lux is a browser suite of writing tools. You can check a draft for overlap with public web pages, screen text that looks model-generated, rephrase a paragraph, mark grammar issues, shorten a long source, format an APA reference, or ask the on-site assistant to outline a reply.
The tools are aids for editing and review. A match score is not a finding of plagiarism. A detector score is not proof of who wrote a sentence. The chat is not the official ChatGPT product and is not affiliated with OpenAI.
What you can do here
- Plagiarism checker — overlapping passages and source links from publicly available pages.
- AI detector — an estimate of whether prose looks model-generated.
- Rewriter — a rephrased paragraph you still have to edit and, where needed, cite.
- Grammar checker — spelling, agreement, and punctuation suggestions.
- Summarizer — a short brief of a text you paste. The source still needs a check before you quote it.
- APA citation generator — a reference formatted from the fields you enter.
- AI chat — an assistant for questions and drafts. Verify dates, citations, and code elsewhere.
What the checks do not cover
The plagiarism scan compares your text with public web pages. It does not search every closed library or university archive. A low percentage does not prove a draft is original. A highlighted sentence can be a quotation, a reference title, or a common phrase.
The AI detector does not name a product or an account. Short texts and some formal human writing can be flagged. Edited model text can be missed. If a course or newsroom rule restricts machine-written work, the score is a reason to look again, not a penalty by itself.
Rewriting does not clear a source. If the idea is not yours, cite it. The APA generator does not look up a half-remembered paper and will not invent a page range. Missing dates should stay missing.
Your text
Files and pasted text are processed to return a result. They are not added to a public database of submissions. Do not upload passwords, exam keys, medical records, or client material you are not allowed to share. What is kept, and for how long, is described in the privacy policy. Use of the tools is covered by the terms of service.
